Hello, I’m Darryl…

LATEST: I’ve written about west London micropubs for Londonist, the Greenwich Peninsula for CityMetric and the agonies of breaking your ankle on Medium.

… and I’m a journalist and editor based in south-east London.

DarrylI’m an experienced journalist who has worked across a variety of fields – from standing out in the rain waiting for Michael Jackson to talking about Lewisham Council’s litter.

I’m an editor with experience of dealing with breaking news and big events, as well as making other people’s copy shine. I’ve also built up a reputation for covering local issues in south-east London through my blogs.

Outside journalism, I’m involved in local campaigning work and have sat on the committee of a local amenity group.

I’m an unashamed transport and London geek, and enjoy cycling, live music and watching football.

I’m open to job offers and freelance work. Want to get in touch? Email darryl.se7 (at) gmail.com. Or I’m on Twitter – @darryl1974 – and you can also find me on LinkedIn and Medium.
